Aden View Care Home

Aden View was opened by local Artist Ashley Jackson in September 2000 and is registered for 46 clients.

The home is situated in a quite area of Primrose Hill and having magnificent views of Huddersfield Town and the hills beyond.

Aden View incorporates many special luxury facilities, including colour TV in each room and a call system enabling direct verbal communication with clients in their rooms.

We have an enclosed garden to the rear of the home and a large patio with seating to the front.

Aden View is within easy reach of shop, bus stops and churches, it is a purpose built unit catering for clients aged 65 years plus, providing residential care in 46 large en suite bedrooms.

The home is built on two floors and has an eight-person passenger lift, providing easy access for clients to both floors. Specialist baths, showers, aids and adaptations are fitted throughout to promote independence for clients.

There are a number of tastefully decorated communal lounges all with colour TV, including one for clients whom wish to smoke. The Dining room is situated on the ground floor and we provide a varied menu using fresh produce (special diets catered for).

A hair salon is located on the ground floor and the hairdresser visits weekly. All laundry is done on site in our own facility.

Visitors are welcome at any reasonable time and prospective clients are encouraged to come and visit for a day before admission.

The registered manager Mrs Denise Mc Kenna has a number of year's experience within the care profession and possesses the appropriate occupational qualifications.

All staff receive ongoing training which meets Health and safety requirements and those of The Commission for social care inspection.
