Aden Court Care Home with Nursing Care

Aden Court is registered for 40 clients and also has a separately staffed day centre which is registered for 20 cleints attached to the home, having its own facilities, staff and entrance.

It is situated on the outskirts of Huddersfield town centre in the heart of the suburban area of Moldgreen, just minutes from Ravensknowle Park, which houses the Tolsen Museum Aden Court is within easy access to churches, shops, bus stops, social clubs, libraries and the town centre.

Aden Court is a purpose built unit catering for clients aged 65 years upwards, providing both residential & nursing care in 40 large en-suite rooms.

The home is built on two floors and has an eight person passenger lift, providing easy access to both floors.

Specialist equipment such as hydraulic baths, hoists & walk in showers are fitted throughout the home to promote independence for clients.

There are a number of tastefully decorated communal lounges all with easy chairs & colour TV, including one for clients whom wish to smoke.

A large dining room is situated on the ground floor and our cooks provide a varied menu using fresh produce (special diets catered for ).

There is also a hair salon on the ground floor and the hairdresser visits weekly.

The designate manager Mrs Sandra Haigh has a number of years experience within the nursing /care profession & is currently working towards her RMA.

All staff receive training which meets Health and safety requirements and those of The Commission for Social Care Inspection. Training is undertaken through our own training centre which is registered under TOPPS.
